This 2-day training develops the managerial capabilities required to lead and sustain Lean performance. Participants learn how to structure daily management systems, align teams with operational objectives, and deploy Lean leadership practices at every level of the organization. 

The program focuses on practical implementation through performance management systems, visual management, capacity and skills planning, and strategy deployment tools to ensure sustainable operational excellence.

  • Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE / TRS)

  • Standardization of operations and process confirmation

  • A3 problem-solving for improvement tracking

Capacity and Competence Management

  • Skill matrix and competency management

  • Gap analysis and risk analysis

  • Capacity management and yearly capacity planning

Team Engagement and Continuous Improvement

  • Task management boards: Heijunka Box, Kamishibai Board, Kanban Board

  • Team involvement in Lean initiatives and managing resistance to change

Certification

The Lean Manager certification is awarded upon successful completion of the official examination.

The exam validates knowledge acquisition ensuring participants have developed the competencies required to lead and structure Lean Management systems.


Examination Format

  • Online, closed-book exam with remote video monitoring
  • Lean Manager Examination : 25 multiple-choice questions – 50 minutes
  • Available in French or English
  • Exams must be completed within six months of training

Passing Criteria

  • Minimum passing score: 60%
  • One retake is permitted in the event of failure
  • After a second unsuccessful attempt, a new exam must be purchased to retake the assessment
